Maria Carmen Navarro — Counselling Psychologist & Psychotherapist, City University London

Maria Carmen Navarro, a graduate of London’s City University, has practiced as a counselling psychologist and psychotherapist for just on five decades. Her work has taken her from the United Kingdom to Singapore and now Canada, where she currently resides. Throughout her career she has been involved in a remarkably wide spectrum of clinical activities.

She employs an eclectic style of therapy, gathering together techniques and strategies she has trained for and used through the last fifty years of practice. She also assists palliative care patients and participates in a range of volunteer work. Where it is genuinely helpful, she is able to employ medical hypnosis for chronic and acute pain, OCD, phobias and anxiety.
